Amelia Peabody

Set in 1884, this is the first installment in what has become a beloved bestselling series. Love love love this series! Elizabeth Peters (real name is Barbara Mertz) was a genuine Egyptologist and this insider knowledge adds so much to the stories.

This series is so much better than this description! I'm going to start the 3rd one this weekend.

I'd suggest, if you want the Jabberwacky Poem Magnet, to customize the image. Simply click the button that looks like the larger moon over the mountains, then make use the boxes in the corners of the image to make it just a bit smaller. Click the circle in the center of the arrow buttons and it'll bring the poem back to the center of the magnet. Then blame the designer for being a noob!

I don't like sharing items that aren't (in my opinion) ready to go as is, but in this case, I really like that poem magnet.

Sometimes the best man is the one you least expect…

As a non-drinker, I can't help but giggle at the many wine tasting descriptions. Are the completely made up? And is that maybe the inside joke of wine production? And while these gifts are all wine related, please note that this is a romance novel set kind of on a vineyard. Wine consumption/adoration is not required for enjoying any of Ms. Higgins novels.

Chronicles of Nick
